Tournoi d'échecs 960 de Francfort

Matthieu Hingouet se trouve actuellement à Francfort en Allemagne pour quelques mois dans le cadre d'un stage pour ses études. Dimanche dernier il a eu l'occasion de jouer un tournoi d'échecs 960.

C'est la première fois que je participais à un tournoi d'échecs 960 et j'y ai vraiment pris beaucoup de plaisir. Tous les échiquiers étaient en bois comme ceux qui sont utilisés en France pour les parties retransmises. 

Concernant le déroulement du tournoi, la position de départ était tirée au sort parmi les 960 possibilités par un ordinateur avant chaque début de ronde. Il n'y avait donc pas la possibilité de s'y habituer au fil du tournoi. 

Mais c'est aussi ce qui faisait son charme car au moins, on réfléchissait et on jouait aux échecs par soi-même dès les premiers coups ! 

Si vous avez la possibilité de participer à un tournoi d'échecs 960, foncez, ça change des échecs classiques et c'est formateur !
